Although I'm normally a Berkshire wedding photographer I venture further afield every now and then. Natalie and Gareth had booked me a room at the venue where they were holding the reception ( Dunchurch Park Hotel in Rugby), as it was quite a journey for me and they wanted me to stay until as late as possible.
My second shooter Helen started doing bridal prep with me and then went off to join the boys getting ready. Here are a few images from that part of the day. I really love bridal prep as its generally a relaxed, but exciting time for everyone.
Helen then went off to capture the guys getting ready. This can sometimes be quite challenging as usually the guys are a lot more camera shy than the girls. Helen did a great job however and I then met her at the Church for the ceremony. The Church was awesome but the warden was very strict on where we could stand ( at the back basically ) and didn't want us taking pictures during the ceremony. This is where using small, quiet mirrorless cameras comes in really handy, once he realised we were not disturbing anyone he let us take more shots, albeit still from the back.
Phew, that will do for part 1. This was a big wedding and a lot happened so I'll do part 2 next week!
