Before I went on holiday I was delighted to be the wedding photographer for Jessica and Gary on their big day. The weather forecast was a little bit ominous ( torrential rain all day! ) but in the end it was a mix of sunshine and showers and we managed to get all the shots they wanted despite the weather.
I covered the bridal prep part...
While Simon, my second shooter, covered the groom part ( I won't post his pictures on here as they weren't taken by me and he has his own blog to show them off on, but he did a great job ). It was a bit of a rush to get to the Church and it looked like it might rain at any moment, but luckily it held off until we all got inside.
After a fantastic ceremony we headed to the reception,at a nearby golf course. The plan was to do some group shots but the weather was against us. We managed to get all the essential ones done anyway. Here are some of the candids from the reception. It was very lively and a lot of fun, and the speeches were fantastic and had all of us in tears ( of laughter ).
Finally..the dancing! The DJ was fantastic and we had a chat before hand about what was going to happen. Jess has planned a special dance to a Michael Jackson song that Gary had no idea about and so we sprung that on him before the main dancing started.
It was a fantastic wedding to be part of and everyone was really welcoming.
